Born in Mobile, icon of Atlanta. True legend. Between Neikro, Sutton and now Hank, it's been one shitty month for Braves folks.

Damn. It sucks to get old enough to see your childhood heroes pass away. RIP Hank.

So sorry to hear this. He was a true gentlemen and did things the right way. As a Reds fans I always dreaded his at bats because that ball had a funny way of going over the wall when he was at the plate. Hit No. 714 to tie Ruth in Cincy. I still consider him the Home Run King.

We older guys were privileged to see him play. Condolences to his family, Braves fans and baseball fans. We have lost a giant.

RIP Hammer. Still holds the MLB record for RBI and total bases. Interesting, I saw an interview with him a few years back and when asked about what he was most proud of in his career, he replied "I never struck out a hundred times in a season"

Five Hall of Famers, Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Satchel Paige, Ozzie Smith, and Billy Williams all grew up playing baseball on the fields of Mobile. An amazing stat.

Neikro, Sutton and Hank.....damn this just sucks. I watched him hit his 715th with my dad on TV.

I had the privilege to meet Hank back in the early 90's and he was one of the most friendly, sincere people I've come across. A true gentleman.

This offseason has fricking sucked. Both sleeves of our uniforms are going to be covered in commemorative patches. They need to put Bobby in bubble wrap. I hear he hasn't been doing well lately.

This one hurt. RIP Hammerin' Hank. Has been a crappy month for Braves fans indeed. If they don't re-sign Ozuna I will have the big time sadz.

Another great Alabama player for sure. I know he came from Birmingham, somewhere around Fairfield. But he may very well have a strong Mobile connection.

What a loss. They don't make them like that anymore. It's a sad day indeed.

This hurts me to my core. The true HR King.

RIP, Hank. Thank you for so many great memories.
