I'm pretty sure LSU wouldn't have included it in his contract if they weren't willing and able to pay it. LSU is paying tens upon tens of millions of dollars in buyouts, I don't think LSU is going to go broke from a few $40,000 plane bills here and there.

All of your coaches have private plane allowances under their contracts. Well ... maybe not UK, because your football program is dog shite. But everyone else does. Y'all are really reaching ... but carry on.

There’s an article linked in OP’s article that says Alabama spent the most on private jets last year. 1.235 million.
ETA that is the most of the 50 schools who responded to the FOIA request
