This is essentially a "there's no fricking way I'm spending anymore time in this shithole town than I have to" clause.
Smart move by Lane Kardashian.

He made a troll thread about a plane ride that would make up about 6% of what UK spent on private jets last year

Lane’s old team spent a third of what UK spent on private jets last year

Why would they want a coach that didn't take them to the playoffs?

The ESPN commentator sure was speaking very highly of Lane right there, too. Now ESPN is predicting LSU to go 7-6 under him

Sports commentary is just as reliable and accurate as political commentary.

Brian Kelly had the same clause in his contract.

Didn’t he go on a bender chasing tail that week thinking he could just show up on Saturday and beat Kentucky?

Yeah. That and the cops being called for stalking because he wouldn't leave her apartment. And we had to pay her off to keep her from filing a restraining order against him.

ETA: just for perspective she broke up with him when she found out he got the second coed pregnant when her dad made a stink and threatened to sue.

Recruiting. On the west coast.

Money well spent. I’m sure at some point Deboer will either lose fewer than four games and/or not have 3 double-digit losses in a season

Neither do I. Could you imagine Lane packing up the family car to drive to Boca for the family vacation?

Funny that we didn’t hear a peep about it until December 2025

It was talked about on all the Ole Miss boards ad nauseam well before Dec. 25. Along with plenty of other Kiffin related topics.

The people I pay for LSU information says it was. That is where I got it from. Either way, someone fricked up.

Or putting him and the family on a commercial flight. They would probably get attacked by some deranged Ole Miss fans.

Among other topics like “Year 7”, “he’s not going anywhere” etc

Just as long as he keeps Alabama’s current winning streak against Arkansas alive. It is currently at 16 games.

What do you want to bet he won’t have a 2-10 season at Alabama? Like Arkansas’ last two coaches have each done. I can’t even imagine how bad it would suck to watch your football team go 2-10 not once, not twice, but three times over the past eight seasons.

Either way, he made a lot of money off of LSU in 2025 between BK and Nuss
