Remember last year against Arkansas when Simmons was listed as probable despite basically breaking his ankle the week before?

LINK

Leavitt could have a broken leg and Lane wouldn’t give it away on the injury report

ETA: half our team on the injury report in 2024

Ole Miss defense is a joke.

Am I crazy for thinking this practice should be very against the rules?

He listed Dart as doubtful vs LSU in 2024. He had 15 carries that game. Why is he like this?

How many of those out and doubtful players are starters on Ole Miss?

That was from 2024. And quite a few were starters.

I was just showing because Kiffin has a history of bending the rules when it comes to injury reports

Either Leavitt is actually fine and he is just trolling or Leavitt has a major injury and even Kiffin can’t list him as questionable

At some point Vegas may take issue with it. It's already caused the game line to move.

But he's being doing this for 5+ years with injury reports.

It's one of those things where you can't make it against the rules because of the very nature of the report. If you say a player is "questionable" then the implication is that you don't know whether or not he will play, so you can't punish a team for putting a player on the report and then having them play in the game. It's kind of like free clock stoppages for injured players - both rules assume that players and coaches will display good sportsmanship and not try to game the system. Kiffin, to the surprise of no one, is a known gamer of the system who doesn't care about sportsmanship.

injury reports only exist because of gambling. it's no coincidence the SEC started requiring them once online sports gambling became legal around the country
