In a nutshell, he was trying to calm his team while not saying anything.

The fact that he said this, knowing his history and all, makes me think he’s more likely leaving than not

What a shitshow. Rumors start after the Bama game, go out the next week and get shitkicked by Arkansas, then media outlets run with it prior to the biggest game of the year for them and he cannot deny he is leaving. If State wins, he leaves and takes Judkins, he might get hit with a bottle of mustard.

Neal Mccready and Auburn On3 folks say Kiffin was offered last night. Auburn folks and Mccready say he would not have been offered if he is gonna say no thanks.

It's my understanding he told the team he hasn't accepted any other jobs and they'll hear from him if he is leaving before the media can report anything.

He hasn’t signed the extension or made a definitive statement of commitment to stay. That means he is either leaving or he hasn’t made a final decision yet.
