None of those reports claim he is staying. All he has said is that he hasn’t agreed to leave…yet.

That is the issue with Lane. He has all the loyalty of a saltwater crocodile. He will always be looking for his next big deal.

Is he getting paid great money to have pretty good results at Ole Miss? He'll walk away in a heartbeat to someplace willing to pay him just a hair more.

I do not say this to mock Ole Miss fans. Honestly if you manage to land the Ole Miss job and do well there it should be the "they'll have to fire me or I'm here till I retire" job you get in your life.

You have a passionate fan base. Oxford is a nice place and the better parts of Memphis are close by. You will get talent there. If the cards play out right you've got a legit shot at sneaking into the CFP.

Several, sources are reporting in the last several hours he is staying.

Here is one, there are several others similar.

Kiffin denies rumors he is leaving

any reports out there about his accepting another offer were totally false

Of course a Bama fan is too dense to see the obvious nuance in his statement...

As your own writer stated......... He never said he was not leaving.

It's real simple to just say "I'm not leaving and even signed my contract."

Which is why I said: "I am leaning towards him leaving"

If he leaves, he leaves. We're in better shape now than we were when he arrived. I'm not gonna be upset if he does leave - the shtick on this whole thing has gotten old. I'd be happy if we turned around and hired Fickell to replace him.

A few extra million/year wouldn't change his mind?

Why would Fickell make a lateral move? He had the Bearcats in the CFP.
