So sick of hearing about how certain people think they are owed something from the tragedy of slavery that occurred 150+ years ago in this country. No one alive has ever experienced that and should not be claiming that they are owed compensation or anything else from that period.

Never heard of the kid
He was a democrat who fought side by side with Union Soldiers in the civil war fearing his democratic friends in the south who were suppressing the blacks would find out what side he was on. He was a very brave soldier who was the first Black man to lead the charge against his democratic brethren. After seeing how disgusting the democrats were, he then switched parties and became the first black republican of the 19th century. He would later invent the scratching of vinyl records to music. He is now buried in Cattle Gap, Egypt. He requested his on his tombstone to be Melvin Fudpucker.

Where did you learn this nonsense? Your bedsheet-wearing grandpappy?
The fact that you assume he is white, and that his "grandpappy" was a klansman just proves you're a racist. I'm gonna make an assumption, too. You are a pedophile.

Even if they were too dumb to realize it, your ancestors were fighting for nothing more than to preserve slavery for the benefit of their wealthy overlords.
Weird how they were "fighting to preserve slavery" when Lincoln had promised many times not to interfere in Southern slavery if it would save the Union.

You constantly refer to others as "uneducated" or "trailer trash" or "dumb" yet you can't correctly spell a simple word like "wart."

This guy reads on a 2nd grade level. He calls people dumb because their statements go way above his head.

Idk man, ask the CSA leaders why they explicitly stated it was about the preservation of slavery.

Freudian slip. Wort is a word that was on my mind given that it’s Friday.

Drop a quote where a Confederate leader said they were going to war simply to "preserve slavery."

I doubt you will every get the exact wording
But here is Alexander H. Stephens, Vice President of the Confederate States of America

Pretty common sentiment shared at that point in history, even by Lincoln himself.
Stephens incorrectly stated in his speech that the North believed the black man to be equal with them when that was actually a rare belief at the time.

You are beyond dumb.
Lincoln did not start a war over the preservation of slavery. It doesn’t matter that he was probably racist.
The south seceded and waged war to preserve slavery.

Big difference though between thinking something like that as an individual back then and saying it will be the cornerstone of the foundation of your new government.
I can link even more quotes that go along with the same thought.

This just further demonstrates how big of an issue it was to them.

No one, on either side, was killed in the bombardment of Fort Sumter.

No doubt.
Doesn't change the fact that the South didn't go to war to simply "preserve Southern slavery."
