It is weird. Not sure why he’s still practicing with the team and supposedly playing in the sugar bowl. Maybe he’s trying to get him to stay or not give credence to the hostile environment thing. Whatever it is, I can’t remember anything like this happening before.

From a practical perspective, Fields is the only other scholarship QB on the roster if something were to happen to Fromm in the bowl game.

Some guy way up in the stands (out of ear shot of Fields) yelled a racial slur. It was heard by two UGA students who turned him in to campus admin, because he was a scholarship baseball player..he was kicked off the baseball team

I agree, but why would fields want to do it? I guarantee you the team he’s transferring to won’t want him to play in it. It’s not like he needs to raise his stock. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Kirby is just being decent. He keeps up with recruits that spurn UGA to sign and play for other schools too.

He's the only viable backup on the roster, and he's a quality player who is still on the UGA roster.

I'm sure some transfer promises were made by Kirby to convince the 2018 #1 QB to come play behind a 2017 5 star QB who just forced the 2016 #1 QB to transfer, to sign with Georgia. Just in case things didn't work out.

Well he can't visit other programs I don't think til after the bowl game. So he either isn't doing any football related activities or he is running with the 2s.
I will say it's odd that all this smoke came out now, when it could just have easily come out in 2 weeks after the bowl game to save these headaches

I thought so too, but every mock draft has him as a first round pick. He may love UGA, but I would assume he’d love first round pick money even more.
