Why would Alabama fans care about this? Saban owns Smart (and Georgia) and the only reason Georgia won last year was Alabama had all their best skill guys out
They don't.
The fact is that most all of the Tide fans like Kirby and appreciate what he did in Tuscaloosa.
That clown who posted that is trying to deal with the fact that he's not relevant around the board anymore. His schtick has grown old and lame, and he can't handle being a has-been

Kirby getting a raise is actually a good thing for Saban...

quote:

Saban has a clause in his contract that effectively guarantees his salary can be adjusted as the coaching market changes, as noted by Paul Myerberg and Steve Berkowitz of USA Today. The specific language in Saban’s deal states that the Alabama coach and the university will meet annually on Feb. 1 “for so long as necessary to determine the marketplace trends regarding head football coach compensation.” Furthermore, Saban’s contract states that the Crimson Tide will be required to increase Saban’s “total guaranteed annual compensation” if it becomes less than the average of either the three highest-paid SEC coaches or the five highest-paid FBS coaches.

jameson played more snaps that game than pickens did lol

I love the bama tears. Maybe if they had used more than two receivers all year they would’ve won.

Unlike Bama, our freshmen were prepared for the moment.

Good for Kirby, but wasn't the NIL supposed to get the players a piece of the pie? Who is giving up their pie for the players now that they are included?

Absolutely no one.

If UGA had an All American DB maybe we could've covered him better.

Oh wait, we did have an All american DB that was injured during both bama games and couldn't play. We just had to use other players we recrutied instead. Just like bama had to do at WR. Guess our recruits were better.

No we don't, and no we aren't.

You are, though. You are the most obsessed human alive. You literally ruin this board single-handedly.

LSU made out like a bandit with BK contract (95 million for 10 years). We all know he’s a better coach than Kirby.

you really have nobody to blame but Saban. I don’t know what he was thinking, not having y’all’s #3 and #4 WRs prepared for the moment.

We had 6-7 WRs ready to go. That’s just the difference in coaching i suppose.

Alabama had a few freshmen ready to break your hearts in 2017, and they did. UGA was ready last year and beat us. Good game. Til next time…

Exactly. In 2017 Devonta Smith was the #5 or #6 WR but he was ready to make plays.

AD Mitchell was the #4 or 5 WR and he was ready to make plays.

So why weren’t Jacorey Brooks and Agiye Hall ready to make plays

But dear lord the man is evidently tone deaf! Complains about NIL the day before this?

Fake news and Shannon Sharpe is a rube.

I watched Kirby's full 30 minute presser yesterday and he BRAGGED about the fact 95 UGA players are in a NIL deal.

The only person I have seen so far to complain about it at any length at media days was Mike Leach, but he's untouchable by the media apparently because he's "an American treasure" or some shite.
