I cannot say I’ve ever seen a penalty reversed after it’s been called. Ever.

If the SEC fines Kirby for those comments, they should get a revolt.
The refs need to be fired for doing what they did.

I was flabbergasted
We should’ve thrown more shite on the field in the past. Apparently it works

I’d like anyone on the planet to find anything he said false or even detrimental to the game.

Again: I direct y'all to 2006 LSU vs Auburn

It does. It tells you the balance of power has shifted to Austin

LSU at Auburn in 06. Called PI and then reversed it. Blatant cheat job

Similarly happened in the Mizzou/A&M game. Was in some ways worse as they reversed the correct call to an incorrect one.
There wasn’t a five minute delay in that case, though.

Kirby is completely right.
This was not a normal "refs huddle and waive off penalty" situation you see sometimes.
They announced the penalty. They moved the ball to spot after the penalty and set it ready for play. They had to stop the game because of the fans.
THEN they huddle and re-litigate? CAN'T DO THAT SORRY. You have to huddle and waive off a penalty in the immediate aftermath of the call.
The penalty call was bad. The way they handled the situation was worse.
It's obvious the refs got bullied into waiving off a bad call.

On the bright side, I think they got the PI right in reversing it. But that's not how shite is supposed to work so it's still really 2 things that shouldn't have happened.
Also, is it a penalty when fans throw shite on the field like that? Seems like it is and/or should be. Wasn't called and should have been called moving Texas back 15 yards.

It was a bad call.
But we get those all the time.
I’ve never seen the refs do a “nevermind”.

Kirby is right.
So glad he is speaking out on this.
The refs should be disciplined.
I don't think I've ever seen this happen before. Could be wrong, but I can't recall anything similar.

That’s why I don’t buy the “well as long as the correct call is made” BS from Kirk
Maybe I’d be saying the opposite if I was on the other side of it, but there’s a reason that’s never happened before.
You can’t tell me they reverse that call if the game is in Athens.
