Then the fouls offset? Shouldn’t the entire play be ineligible and a penalty on the offense? These rules are harder and harder to follow ...

I don’t think he’s bailing out or scared. I think he tried to make plays where they didn’t exist on some occasions. He maybe could have played with more rhythm in the second half ...
Worst loss in a long time

This loss stings for the lack of will to win. We had the players, the coaches and honestly multiple opportunities to put the game away but lacked the will to do it.
You can call it lack of coaching, preparation, discipline or whatever you like but great programs win these types of games.
