No one cares about conference championships or bowl games anymore.

Count the Natty’s, easy as that

Uhh... why are you trying to talk about the positives of genital warts?

That's kind of odd.

And gross.

Saban still cares! I tempted to place a $1000 bet on this game, watch how aggressive Saban is in the SEC title game Kirby doesn’t stand a chance. The GOAT doesn’t just want to beat Kirby and Ga, he wants to bury them!!

There is SOME truth to the OP's post, let me preach on it.

Kirby with a loss will be a scintillating 1-5 head to head with Nick Saban and Alabama. The one IMO had to do with some injury luck because with Willliams and Metchie playing Kirby is OFER.

The pressure will all be on Georgia in this game. They have been riding high all year with some close calls but this will be the first team they play all year that could actually beat them. That can actually match their physicality at the LOS.

Lose this game. and the party is over. No mulligan this time. It's the Ty'D Bowl for UGA. And second fiddle for Kirby Smart for good.

It just KILLS them but they know their chances with them playing were slim to none. They couldn't cover one of them much less both.

Let me preface this by saying, I don’t want us to lose to Bama, but would be funny to see UGA still make the CFP with a loss and beat Bama in NC game. There are plenty of scenarios where UGA could go with a loss.

Really? Name them. It's going to be hard to get ONE SEC team in much less two.

Face it, lose to Bama and you're finished this time.

Agreed. But Bama losing by a couple of scores will continue the downward spiral Bama is on.

Maybe. Georgia has looked very good against ranked teams and also has historical proof they were still the best team in 2021 after losing to Bama in Atlanta. The committee may be biased to them.

What? Bama doesn’t have a legitimate title since 2017 and it’s average number off losses per season is on the rise.

So, 2 of these 4 things would need to happen for a 1-loss non-conference champ to get in the playoff.

1 - Texas loses again. While they'll be favored, Oklahoma State in the CCG isn't an easy win for Texas.

2 - Louisville loses to UK then beats FSU in the ACCCG. The second part may happen, but the first isn't very likely.

3 - Iowa wins big 10. Unlikely.

4 - Oregon loses to Oregon State but then beats Washington. Both of these are possible, but needing both is probably unlikely.

But if a 2-loss Oregon and 3-loss Oklahoma State win their conferences, then a 1-loss non-champ is getting in.

I'd think UGA would likely be on the top of that list, but it is possible they chose an OSU/Michigan with one loss instead.

OP’s post is ridiculous because Kirby is already considered great and will continue to win at a high level.

However the next two Georgia Bama games will say a lot about how he is remembered compared to Saban. He is 1-4 against Saban right now. They probably won’t play each other too many more times as Saban is pretty old. If he were to finish 1-6 versus Saban it would be a feather in Saban’s cap in the GOAT arguments assuming Smart is able to roll off a few more NCs in his career. If he wins the next 2 and ends up 3-4 against Saban then the head to head is basically a wash.

Like it or not, he's already HoF great, and shows no signs of slowing down. HORRIBLE take.

Georgia made a huge gamble going from a proven winner in Richt (but couldn't win the big ones) to a first time HC who was previously a DC and the gamble paid off like everyone dreams and prays for when they make a hire. They hit the jackpot. Just tip the cap and move on.

It all depends how one defines great. Saban is great on so many levels, Kirby is not yet. He’s still on Dabo’s level. Saban knows Kirby’s team this year starts off slow. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit for Saban and Alabama to be up 14-0 before Kirby realizes Ga’s sleeping walking days for a half are over!!!!
