Ironically, Georgia fans can thank The Ol Ball Coach for Kirby Smart.

Quitting on South Carolina mid year got the ball rolling on Kirby's head coaching career. UGA had to step in front of that transition. Kirby had all of the leverage. And all of his pre-hire demands were met.

Georgia’s current level is similar to Alabama. They are both playing for more than just conference titles.

I don't know if he can or can't. But I know Brian Kelly will never be considered a good coach if he never beats Kirby in the SECCG.

Let me explain it to you. Kirby finally beats Saban in the SEC title game and goes on to win 3 straight national titles. That would be huge a headline nationally. But, if Kirby loses to Saban again there by eliminating Ga from repeating, Kirby will be no better coach than that whiny Dabo at Clemson.

Why did you edit your post from this?

Dabo who won two in a row.

Saban will pass on to glory with a losing record to Tubberville, Spurrier, Barry Alvarez, Lloyd Carr, Hayden Fry, Tom Osborne, and Joe Tiller. Does that really affect his legacy? Heck no, he’s the GOAT.

At 47 years old, Kirby has a better career winning percentage than Saban (.860 to .803). He’s won 2 NC, and has another 4 years to win his 3rd or more before the age that Saban won his first.

For all the bluster of the muh hurt WR, AL was a lot closer to losing to UGA in 17 & 18 than they were to beating UGA in Indy….which would have Saban’s record against Smart at 2-3…AND this all occurred in the apex of Saban’s run.

Saban’s legacy is established and untarnished. AND it’s simultaneously disingenuous to suggest, Smart has anything to prove.

The GOAT doesn’t just want to beat Kirby and Ga, he wants to bury them!!

Saban knows that Georgia is the better team on defense so his strategy will be to keep the game as close as possible.

Saban wants to leave skid marks on Kirby, Saban wants to leave a mark to let everyone know who’s King. If you don’t realize that, you will soon.

That's fine, but he doesn't have the team to do that offensively.

So instead he's going to coach for a low scoring game and hope his team wins the turnover battle.

He'll do that because he IS a great coach.

Kirby Smart is a proven, outstanding coach and the right fit for Georgia.

But he has to have this game. Lose this and he is 1-5 vs Saban and guess where Georgia goes mid season next year?

He ain't playing Bama with a new QB in Athens. He's coming to Bryant Denny and Alabama won't have a new QB. Bama has 3 players that will have used up their eligibility. Three.

Now the draft will take some but that will be a veteran Alabama team waiting for UGA.

The one IMO had to do with some injury luck because with Willliams and Metchie playing Kirby is OFER.

Lose this game. and the party is over. No mulligan this time. It's the Ty'D Bowl for UGA. And second fiddle for Kirby Smart for good.

This is just a mind-numbingly stupid take. Are you retarded?
