I’d take 2 national titles over 1 regardless of how consistently well Oklahoma has done. You play to win national titles. Not to be consistently good but not great
A lot of people need to read this and understand this.
We got people out here bragging about regular season SEC championships in basketball and winning the Campbells soup bowl in football. It’s embarrassing. If you didn’t win the National Championship, you accomplished jack shiit.

Well, it was a great season and we had a chance to win it all, but 6’10” Stevenson couldn’t guard a fat, 6’7” PF

Grant Nelson —-> Andrei Kirilenko
Clifford Omoruyi —-> JaVale McGee
Labaron Philon —-> Steve Francis
Derrion Reid —-> Stephen Jackson
Mark Sears —-> Damon Stoudamire

MAKES ALABAMA GREAT AGAIN by transferring the hell out of here.

Dabo wouldn't be better
Dabo already proved he has the nuts to make the right decision.
In 2018 he benched Milroe (Kelly Bryant) for a guy that actually knows how to throw a football Ty Simpson (Trevor Lawrence).
Give me the 2 time champ over a guy that won the GSAC championship anytime.

Give me a friggin’ break.
More like LACK, as in Milroe LACKS the ability to throw a football.
or
L.A.C.K.: Let All Coaches Know…..that Ty Simpson should be the starter now.
Which one do you guys like best?

So what you’ve proven is yes, Bryce Young is a good QB, he can’t beat the Georgias of the world. Jalen Milroe can’t

Saban would've had a 7th national title at Alabama if Metchie and Jamo didn't go down to non-contact injuries in 2021...ifs and buts, candy and nuts.
You’re 100% right, I believe that too. Doesn’t change the fact that Milroe isn’t a good QB

Georgia 2023 would disagree.
Georgia 2023 would have whooped our a$$ had Bowers and McConkey been healthy.
re: After another 5 star Alabama is #1 in On3 recruiting rankings. Auburn fans?
Posted by chefrossi on 7/14/24 at 1:21 pm
I’m a Bama fan and I’ll even admit it..
LSUs brand is so big it doesn’t matter who the coach is, they’ll still consistently be a contender for a Natty. They have won 3 in the last 20 years with 3 different coaches.
The same goes for Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. Theyll be at the top consistently regardless of the coach.
Why is it so hard for people to admit the same thing about Bama?

I know this is a long way away but after what I saw Nate recruit in this year, I’m getting greedy. Lol
Caleb Holt (he’s just outside of the Huntsville area, I think Madison County High or Buckhorn High, maybe Hazel Green?) What’s the latest? Does Bama have a shot at landing him?

I’ll say this as nicely as possible. Bama basketball will find someway somehow to survive without Wague on the team……

I'm concerned about the tackles and receivers.
Nick Saban hasn’t won a National Championship since 2020 for 2 reasons.
The WRs and the D-Line. There’s been a stud in both units every year since 2008. The last 3 seasons have seen those position groups drop off A LOT since the title days.
I don’t see a NFL round 1 stud at WR or D-Line on next years team either, unfortunately.
