As great as Kirby looks, repeatedly losing to Saban in the SEC title game, is like a wart on Kirby’s face. Everyone can see it, can he remove it?

Has Kirby ever beaten Saban for the SEC championship?

He's on the verge of winning 3 straight national championships. I'd say that's pretty great.

I think he has to beat Bear Bryant before he is considered great. I mean, who gives a frick about 28 games in a row and two national titles.

If you consider beating nick saban a criteria to being great, there's not many coaches that's great. what a dumb post.

what's BK's record against top 10 teams again?

True! But only if he can beat Saban in the SEC championship this year. Saban will deny Kirby of any chance of winning 3 straight. Saban says, not on my watch.

There's not much point in arguing with you because your takes are so bad. He's beaten Saban in the national championship game and won back to back national championships. That's great by any metric even if he doesn't win three in a row. Saban is the GOAT but at Kirby's age he has the potential to surpass him as crazy as that sounds.

Let me explain it to you. Kirby finally beats Saban in the SEC title game and goes on to win 3 straight national titles. That would be huge a headline nationally. But, if Kirby loses to Saban again there by eliminating Ga from repeating, Kirby will be no better coach than that whiny Dabo at Clemson.

Didn't Texas A&M did that to LSU last year to rob Kelly of a chance for a playoff? This year will be another one to keep an eye on Texas A&M is going to try to beat LSU at BR without the loser Fisher as the HC.

In 7 years as a HC, Kirby Smart has won 2 out of the 3 National Championships he’s appeared in during that time. He’s been pretty dang great in my book.

My bad, Dabo won 2 in 3 years. Not much difference, between him and Kirby. Dabo destroyed Ala to win one of them, but look at him now?

First of all, Dabo never won two in a row. Second, since when do we only measure coaches by the height of their accomplishments?

Dabo has had several dud seasons, including each of the last 3 years. Kirby has never had a dud season.

No.

Texas A&M has never played for an SEC championship.
