I don't think either ever seriously considered leaving Ole Miss.

If anyone knows about pissing on someone, it’s Pete. Renal disease is a serious condition, and when exacerbated by extreme alcoholism, can prove deadly. Hopefully with some professional counseling and medical treatment, he can get sober enough to work the grill at Waffle House next year.

I was surprised when I saw his first presser as the HC back in the playoff run. Very thoughtful answers, doesn't seem to bullshite, and he's pretty funny. Saban and Kiffin weren't big on letting assistants talk so I didn't know what to expect.

Makes total sense. Who wouldn’t be concerned about what people think? In a state that you will never visit again after you leave.
