The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference.
As an LSU fan, I remember fondly the Saban years. I wasn’t as “hurt” when he left for Miami because you can’t hate on a coach leaving for a truly better opportunity at a higher level. It did sting when he went to Alabama. Not because I hated Alabama, but because I knew he would transform them like he did LSU and he wouldn’t be doing that at LSU anymore. Most sensible LSU fans respect Saban and knew what he was. He was going to be a winner wherever he went and that resonated greatly with the people here.
LSU fans loved Saban. I think him going to Alabama did so much good for the sport as a whole. Sometimes good ole fashioned hate is a good thing. It’s closer to love than people realize.

If anyone knows about pissing on someone, it’s Pete. Renal disease is a serious condition, and when exacerbated by extreme alcoholism, can prove deadly. Hopefully with some professional counseling and medical treatment, he can get sober enough to work the grill at Waffle House next year.

Like Texas A&M, when all the chips are on the table, TU chokes it away. The pride of your program diminishes when the lights are at their very brightest. You’re gonna have a hard time turning a hoe football program into a house football program.
