It’s been fun to listen to Deboer, Day, etc hem haw around today about how they feel about what is going on.
It’s obvious they are actively trying to get NFL guys back to school. They just haven’t been successful like Lane.

Yep, this is exactly the reason I live by the philosophy "Someone's going to be a piece of shite, might as well be me".
That woman was going to cheat on her husband with someone, might as well be me.
Someone was going to take the $20 hanging out that lady's purse so loosely, might as well be me.
Terrible excuse and a refusal to take responsibility for your own actions IMO.
I had someone try this on me trying to get me to do something I disagreed with morally. My response - sure, but it's not me.

He’s absolutely right. They are either going to play for you or against you. Doesn’t matter if you like it or not. Any coach who willingly gives the competition even an inch of a competitive advantage in a hyper competitive world like CFB will not be around long.

It is my understanding that a player has to be enrolled in a school to even enter the transfer portal.
How does a guy who is not in college enter the portal?
Can anyone now enter the portal? I think that would be cool to see my name in the portal. Maybe the whole SEC rant could enter the portal. That would be entertaining.
