re: Space X IPO question

Same requested 100 got 10!

This is my base.

Will be Fun to tell the grandkids, we bought Spacex at the IPO
Exactly.

So now that its intent is gone.

I’m yet to have anyone tell me what you actually do with it.

Seems like it’s morphed into the world’s BIGGEST Ponzi scheme.

Buy it.

Hope it goes up a bunch

Then sell it for Dollars because someone behind you will buy yours.

Crypto HAS NO UTILITY

I never understood why I would want to buy a car with an asset using a “currency” that can then turn around and be worth- Infinite X times more than when I used it to buy the car.

Can’t wait for the amount of bag holding from this ipo.

Agreed.

Wait 6months to a year and let the lock up periods expire.

Get space x stock at 1/2 the IPO price - then set it and forget it for your kids and grandkids.

That’s my play.
Skip the undergraduate degree and send them to electrical school.

College degrees are going to be more worthless as the time goes on

People that can fix shite are going to be in demand.

The ROI on a college degree will be negative.

Now if you want to send your kid to have the experience and to party- have at it.

But Data Center electricians are making $250k+ a year.

You can get an electrical certification in like 36 months for $45k.

Work a few years under a company. Learn the trade and business. Start your own shop and have people working under you - MAKE BANK

Parents are going to have to have a come to
Jesus moment in realizing that college is dead end and that the path to prosperity for their kids is found in technical expertise in fixing the AI machines etc.
Good jobs numbers means no rate cuts.

No rate cuts means money more expansive to borrow for Cap x

With no interest rate cuts on the horizon, tech becomes less attractive to investors because it’s more expensive to borrow money.

Some of those are selling some tech and rotating into other sectors.

Also, some are selling in preparation for the Space X IPO to have now money to buy on 6/12

Look at countries like China and India that have combined lifted probably well over a billion people out of abject poverty.

LOL…WTF are you babbling about?!?!

All you need to do is go do a random search on Instagram or X and type in India street food videos.

There you will see the true state of India.
I put in for 100 shares via Fidelity.

Hoping I get 5-10 just for fun.

Once the inevitable price halving, I’ll buy a long term significant position. I probably won’t see the benefit until I’m in my 70s, but I figure it would be nice to hand off to the kids and maybe grandkids at that point.

And I’m ok with this.

I did some research and you can buy one of his mutual funds - BPTRX- and it has approximately 30% of its holdings in SPACE X Private shares already.

Buying his mutual fund may be a play here rather than buying Space X n IPO day or soon thereafter.

Freaking damn embarrassment that LSU didn’t even make the tournament.

Completely ridiculous to not at least be in the tournament.

The absurdity of how bad a job this roster was assembled is astounding.

LSU baseball should be in the tournament EVERY YEAR, host a regional at least. 6 out of 10 years, be National seed at least 4 out of 10 years, go to Omaha at least 3 out of 10 years, and win the CWS 2 out of 10 years.

Seeing the finished project as performed by someone that I pay to do them.

College degrees are like participation trophies.

Everyone gets one.

You want to do something, put an ROI on the degrees in order to qualify for federal student loans.

Undergraduate degrees are a grift on the federal government promulgated by universities and colleges peddling in useless degrees for $$
