Clearly retarded. LSU is basically saying if the NFL won’t accept you we will. My understanding is once you dedicated to the draft your college experience is over. Apparently LSU thinks differently. If this becomes the norm, yes LSU has changed things to the point of players will go where they can make more money. If you can’t see that, that’s your problem.

Are you aware this entire issue only involves players from the 2022 class. They were told they have a 5th year of eligibility in June this year. Well after the NFL draft. Thats the argument to why they should be allowed to return this year. This is unprecedented.
The SEC has already allowed Texas to sign a lineman that was in a Cowboy’s uniform a month ago. They drew the line at players who signed contracts, not players who participated in NFL mini camps. It’s a ridiculous place to draw the line.

We all did. But the SEC said otherwise -and multiple teams will have players who went through the draft process so we operated to the fullest extent.
