All the anger at LSU and Lane is misplaced.
The NCAA royally fricked this up not LSU or LK
1. NIL...paying student athletes millions... pros (paid players) instead of armatures ruined it.
2. transfer portal - free agency ruined it.
3. Winning NCs because 25-26 year olds playing against 18-19 year olds ruined it.
4. Allowing to play 6, 7, and 8 years ruined it.
5. Commisioners that don't know the rules. (5 for 5) ruined it.
6. Commisioners calling out a member school for nothing ruined it.
7. Commisioners and their lawyers who couldn't define professional or amatuer ruined it.
8. Commisioners just now realizing "the lines are blurred" in 2026 ruined it.

This case is nothing more than the SEC overplaying their hand trying to slap down Kiffin & LSU (and most think its a Kiffin vendetta by Sankey)
LSU and Kiffin stance has been all along has been, LSU will follow the courts ruling, not some made up SEC rule made 2 weeks ago, and Sankey got his feelings hurt.
The proof is Sankey & SEC filed a lawsuit today before the Judge ruled in the Louisiana case. That should tell anyone they expected to lose today and expect to lose again.
Why would you file to sue someone, before whatever your suing for hasn't happened?
now back to your NIL- Yes this needs to be discussed- but this LSU VS SEC has nothing to do with that.
