Per SEC Country

If the Aggies had never fired Kevin Sumlin, continued giving him $2 million raises every four years and he maintained his 66.2% win percentage, Texas A&M would have reportedly saved $102 MILLION while having two more wins.

Found the issue with this theory.

It’s good they fired him though, I would have been worried for his and his family’s safety if they had stayed longer in College Station

That’s half a percentage more than their historic 61%

They could have the love child of Bear Bryant and Nick Saban and still not escape the gravity of an 8Win planet.

Think about the next guy they hire after they do LSU/Aggy type buyouts.

He will go 8-4 on average because that’s what national champ coaches do at Texas AM.

That’s probably 60 million to get rid of Elko then buy a new staff at 15 million a year.

…….just to go 8-4.

Manziel did the heavy lifting for Sumlin at A&M. 20-6 with him and 31-20 without him.

To be fair, no coach wins without a good QB, and there aren't many of them.
