That be the rumor.

Mason Choate who runs the Arkansas Rivals site said he's heard from a source it's done.

Any idea why? I get he’s from Texas and that TCU just had a title game appearance, but Arkansas seems like they have better facilities and could pay him more

Probably means that at a certain dollar amount, arky is ok letting him walk.

At that point it's best for everyone involved for him to move on. He does a nice job, but he definitely isn't irreplaceable.

This begs the question. Did Beamer truly target Loggains over KB? Considering that KB is leaving, I've got to think that Loggains was The Guy all along.

Next question: if Arky offers Loggains to come back when KB leaves, does he take it before coaching a season?

It's a lot easier making a name for yourself moving the ball at TCU against the Big 12 than it is at Arkansas against the SEC. He wants to be a head coach, and he decided that the TCU path was his best way forward.

Couldn't agree more

At some point just shake hands and move on. The guy doesn't owe us anything, and vice versa.

Rumors that Loggains was a cancer in the locker room towards the end of the year so I don't think so.

Arkansas isn't asking Loggains to come back. If KB leaves worst case senerio will probably promote from within with either Smith or Guiton.

In 2 years, who's going to be left in the Big XII other than TCU who'll be a legit contender?

No one in the Big 12 will be a contender. Patterson’s players won’t carry career .500 coach Sonny Dykes forever.

He’s not going there to contend. He’s going there to run an offense that puts up big numbers so he get a head job or an OC job at one of the handful of places that can legitimately contend.

The Briles name is still toxic in Texas and specifically DFW, even Kendal. I'd be very surprised if this happened. Him coaching out of state is the best thing for his career.

I think he would Rather player Big 12 defenses with TCU players than continue playing SEC defenses with Arkansas players.

Baylor, KState, and OSU have all been in NY6/BCS bowls in the past decade.

True but it didn't seem like he could bring much to Arkansas. He'll do much better at TCU.
