The Big 12 should not be intimidated by the Texas AG’s Office. The Kansas Attorney General’s Office stands ready to assist the Big 12.

The SEC, Big 10, and ACC state AGs should offer their support to the big 12 as well. Its a watershed moment for college athletics. Even in this wild west we currently live in, there has to be a line and betting on games HAS to be across that line.

I agree. If a line in the sand is not drawn, it will happen very soon in other conferences like the SEC.

Today's Big 12 filing in Federal Court exposed everything. Texas Tech was told by the commissioner not to play Sorsby. Texas Tech told the commissioner they would play him and threatened legal action against the conference and its member institutions if the conference sanctioned Texas Tech in any way.

Texas Tech has committed conduct detrimental to the Big 12 Conference. Texas Tech is in violation of conference bylaws right now.

If Sorsby plays a single snap against a Big 12 opponent, I full expect (after the season) for Texas Tech to be expelled from the Big 12 by a 15-1 vote.

Paxton shouldve really stayed in his lane on this, especially since he's on the wrong side of it. Maybe he is confused and thinks the Big 12 is still comprised of mostly Texas schools he can bully into submission?

Paxton just doesn’t understand the right and wrong side of this, because he is a person that has no concept of right and wrong. It’s only self interest 100% of the time.

NEWS: The Big 12 has filed a complaint in federal court in Dallas for a declaratory judgement, which would effectively give the league the ability to enforce its by-laws. This comes in response to the Texas AG's letter last week. This would empower the Big 12 to have autonomy to make a decision on Brendan Sorsby's case.

I don't think it will come to that. The Big XII has come up with a couple of sanctions (ineligibility for the title game and a monetary fine) that wouldn't absolutely prohibit Tech from playing Sorsby, if, as Tech has maintained in their PR, their only concern is Sorsby's well being. Given that choice, Tech won't play him.

Didn’t listen to techs 20 minute “us against the world” speech but they truly have galvanized everyone and I love it. If that’s what it takes to get the college sports world under control so be it.

TTU would not get to vote on whether or not it would be expelled.

The B12 bylaws allow for a sanction with 75% supermajority of the “disinterested” members.

I really can't believe that people on Tech's side are okay with this shite. If this was LSU, I would want that motherfricker off the team and not allowed back later down the line. You cannot have players betting on games. You just can't.

Paxton is the most corrupt AG in the country. Cody contributes to his senate campaign. frick both of them.

Unfortunately, I have no control over the fricking retarded morons in Texas who voted for Paxton for senate.
