We both know 90% of students that actually care about education go to private school in Ms.
On year 19. So I still have at least 6 years. In the meantime I'll play the lotto
The river is jumping more than 20 feet in 12 days (on the ntz gauge) Looks like my camp will get 1.5 feet of water in it. It would be nice if they would start letting some water through morganza but they aren't unless we get more rain.

You ain't lying..... Coaching baseball and track at a rural school. Don't get paid jack crap for coaching but who is going to do it????? Coaches have to drive the bus and we don't get paid for that. 15 hour days are the norm around here in the Spring.

Agree on some points, when the AR’s were taken up but NATO went with the FAL and we almost did but politics played a part…

The M-16-A1 in full auto is uncontrolled as well and is why it was removed and the 3 round burst enacted on the A-2.

Have you ever shot a full auto FAL??? Talk about hard to handle

Kids that age think they are bullet proof, but I would ask him to make sure he has a weather app on his phone. Also if he has an iPhone he can go to settings, notifications, scroll down to the very bottom (past apps) and make sure emergency alerts and public safety alerts are turned on.

Many kids hate those alerts but you should ask him to at least turn them on while driving home. He can disable when storms are past.
Nobody listens to the radio anymore and he would not get the alert in the car...

That ain't no lie. My youngest is home for spring break and was talking about sleeping in his truck(national forest) turkey season starts tomorrow. I asked what his plans were still to go on out there. He has changed his mind hahahahaha

hey seem to be more pro-active this year, whether that was Secretary or someone else, who knows. But keeping Snapper season open, and extending hunting days due to the snow are 2 that come to mind.

Both things they copied from Ms

Kisatchie National Forest is thinned or logged nearly every year in sections. The forest service here also does a really good job with maintaing fire breaks and doing controlled burns as well. This needs to be instituted in other areas of the country that don't practice the same forest management as around here. Like other posters have said, to at least allow companies to go in and get dead and fallen trees out, or thin out pine beetle damaged trees would help a lot with wild fire danger. That was said over and over again about California for years.

Yes, and the logging company that has been working around where I turkey hunt have done fantastic job
