If he wanted to start right away he’s a fricking moron for going to UGA and not LSU/Florida/Tennessee

this is such a non-story, with absolutely nothing of substance mentioned.

Ahhh the evil plot of dividing UGA along racial lines and imploding the team is right on schedule.

It's not controversial because it has been said from Day One he is going to play. If he plays better than Fromm, he will take the job. This has been the narrative. There is no controversy.

This.

Talking to the media and saying truths is not controversial. Nothing Pablo said is wrong. And nothing directly dictates any circumstance surrounding his son.

Fake news.

Wow, you uncovered quite a controversy. Great work, Sherlock. I best Smart and Chaney never thought they’d have to deal with two QBs when they signed Fields. Hopefully they read SECR so they realize the problem they have on their hands.

Thanks, Dude.

I see nothing wrong with Fields' father's comments.

Fake News!!

What did he say that was so bad? He told the truth on the Bama game. He said in a round about way that the best player will start. That is Kirby's rule as well. If you are the best player in practice, you are the starter. I would bet some money, we will see Fields on the field this year.

If Fromm wasnt such an obvious leader with the total respect of the team, a divide might concern me. But as it stands, he’s the obvious leader of the offense until/unless Fields can present the same leadership qualities to match his incredible skill. Y’all read division into the dads comments but all I see is a dad acknowledging what Kirby has always said: whoever helps us win games is going to play no matter what position and no matter what class level. Wake me when this has actually turned into an issue

Fields didn't want to go to Florida, because they're shite. LSU isn't much better.

Fields is gonna get happy with his experiences at UGA as a student and won't want to leave..his dad might as well recite bad poetry because he has very little to do with it now.

That’s fine, that shite school has 3 Hiesman winning QB’s though FYI. If you want to play as a freshman why go to a school that has a young established starter? I’m sure he could have found a school he didn’t think was shite. If he doesn’t play it’s his own fault, he had the information and options. That was my point butt sniffer.

Unfortunately for the Dogs, this upcoming brewhaha's gonna have a ton of merit to it. Most of the heavy lifting has already been done for Saban, with the Tua/Jalen thing being pretty much put to bed from a public opinion standpoint....not so with Georgia. It's easy to see the difference in talent level in Tuscaloosa, but it's gonna be a bitch to determine in Athens...pretty sure there'll be blood in the streets up there if the Dogs don't come out of the gate smoking.

strangely enough, the best thing for UGA may actually be for Fields not to be very good this year, and since he's never taken a snap in a college football game, that may be the case.

If, though, he starts out on fire, the pot may go from a simmer to boiling over.

people want so bad for us to have a divided fanbase like some of bama's fans had during the summer.

exactly, you have 1 QB that can only run but not pass a lick and another that can do both. Open and shut.

Both of our QBs are good passers and one is a dynamic runner as well. Great problem to have!
