Who has backtracked anything? This thread is stating that *Judkins* and his camp are trying to backtrack.
What I don't understand is that it seems he has representation from "Athletes First" out of California. If he had a good deal, why didn't they let the family know about the realities of the market outside of Ole Miss? The whole situation and how it's played out just makes me feel more and more bad for the kid.

My oldest daughter lives in Pike Road and we were there visiting the past couple of days. We were eating at a local restaurant when the conversation started about Judkins among a few tables with Auburn and Ole Miss alumni/boosters. Lot of University of Mississippi grads in Montgomery County. One of the Ole Miss alumni/booster has a kid in the same class as my grandson, and his oldest son graduated with Judkins. He came over to our table to say hello to the family and I asked him about it. Himself and others that know the family well said it’s the momma. Either way I hope it works out for the young man. Everyone in Pike Road that knows him says he’s a good kid.
