Josh Pate’s new conference lineup plus your ideas

Here is Josh’s on a map from five months ago.
His main goal, I believe was to keep college football regional/radial/compact/historical/competitive. He knows more about college football than all/most of us. So I would trust his gut on that.
Here are some other ideas.
You’re more than welcome to create your own if you have a huge problem with Josh or any other others.
i personally like Penn state and ND in the same conference to strengthen a big east conference. 
might be the best way to have a power four with divisions.
Also I have a question, why can’t we have 10team leagues with divisions? Why was 12 the past mandate for that?

4 Conferences of 16 Teams. Each Split into 2 Divisions. Play all 7 teams of your division, plus other games including cross division games and or out of conference.
Playoff and Conference Tournament are combined.
Top 2 teams from each Division play each other first. Then The winners of the Divisional playoff play each other for the Conference Championship. Then the 4 Conference Champions face off in 4 team National Championship.
This would bring back the importance of Conference and Division Champions. This is only 4 post season games to win a National Championship, when the max is 5 post season games now.

I love South Carolina and think they've fit in great in the SEC since '92, but replace them with Vandy so we get back to the pre 1992 SEC.

Why? Have the conferences at a size in which each team plays all the other teams in the conference. The champs then advance.

I would have problem with allowing possibly three teams from the big12 and ACC that dont belong in a playoff taking sec and big10 slots.
I like the idea of having some weight being put in conference rank, but four teams from each league is he’d for mention accept.

For starters, he gave a list and backed it up with 10 minutes of commentary.
Secondly, you’ve been given the opportunity to speak more about it, and you’ve added nothing. What would you do? What would you change?

Vandy is a founding member, just let the SEC have 11 or 12 if Arky wants to stay
