That will get you fired at OU, Bama, Florida, LSU, TexAss and Georgia. I guess some places accept mediocrity.

Florida students are mostly northern dems from the northeast.
That's why they are basketball now.
Enjoy.

I think Heupel is too low in this list despite his haggard and disheveled apperance.
Would agree even though their uniforms are only slightly more disgusting than their mustard throwing hillbilly fans.
Pains me to say that Coach Chubby is keeping all of the McDonalds bags for himself but ranked too low here imo

Heupel picks up some random QB from App State that misses spring practice and still puts up huge numbers. He’s undervalued. I don’t see what Drinkwitz has done to be rated above him. Heupel is kinda the stylistic inverse of Mike Elko.
Also one of the CBS Sports writers projects Mizzou to go 6-6 this coming season.

Deboer at 2 seems off but the rest is reasonable enough.

Gaypier saved his job by winning 7 games in year 3 after 2 losing seasons and would’ve probably saved it winning 7-8 in year 4 with another Gasparilla bowl appearance but went 4-8 instead.

Josh Pate hits and misses, but he explains why he does anything...that I respect. Not just him leaving us blind on why he thinks stuff.
Preseason predictions are very hard..I mean how many teams go wire to wire number 1.

What is Drinkwitz record against teams that have a winning SEC record that season?
It must be terrible. Drinkwitz seems to always lose to the good SEC teams he plays. I might go look that one up. He seemed about as bad as Napier when playing the good SEC teams that season. I guess he did beat the teams he was supposed to beat though.
Edit: Crazy as it appears Drinkwitz has never beaten an SEC team with a winning SEC record in his 6 years at Mizzu. He is like 0-17 in those games.

Silly mutt. Silly and ill informed.

Students from the Northeast make up about 7% to 8% of the University of Florida's (UF) total undergraduate student body. Because roughly 88% to 90% of UF's students are Florida residents, the out-of-state and international pools are relatively small.

If it were up to the UAA, we’d still have Mike White and would suck at basketball too.

Lanes resume isnt anywhere close to Kalens either.
Comparing apples to oranges here
Kalen inherited the most stacked and legendary program in the nation from Nick who still keeps an office at the stadium and sits with Byrne at UA basketball home games
Lane inherited an (at the time) shitty Ole Miss program and made it one of the best football programs in the country year in and year out without the built-in recruiting and brand advantages Kalen has with Nick and Bama's NFL draft track record
quote:
The only one is Kirby. You could possibly make an argument for Sark, but Kalen is 2-0 against him.
Venables has also beaten Kalen twice, if we're using that logic, Venables has that advantage over him.
Also, for context's sake, Kalen beat Sark the first time with a hot Washington team on a 6-game winning streak and that was an 8-4 Big 12 Texas team at the time while Sark was rebuilding the program. Not exactly equals playing equals Mano a Mano there. The Sugar Bowl semifinal Kalen barely beat Texas that game. All comes down to this: whose offense you want your team running? Kalen's or Sark's? I thought so.
Also, Sark has a better record than Kalen the last 2 years
quote:
He's also beaten Kirby twice.
I'm sure that bothers Kirby daily while he polishes his back to back SEC championship rings

I am betting that LSU will miss the playoffs this season and Alabama will make it once again this season.
With Alabama's easy as shite schedule they should, Jesus basically all their hard games are at home and you know they always get home cooking from the Birmingham office

2025 Offensive Points Scored
Texas: 30.5
Alabama: 29.5
2024 Offensive Points Scored
Alabama: 33.8
Texas: 33.0
It is a wash. Alabama has averaged 31.7 offensive points per game under Deboer. Over the same 2 seasons Texas under Sark has averaged 31.8.

What has Sark done to rank 3 on that list , let alone top 5 ?

Made the CFP twice. There are only three current SEC coaches who have done that.
Kirby Smart - 5 appearances (5 wins)
Kalen Deboer - 2 appearances (2 wins)
Steve Sarkisian - 2 appearances (2 wins)
Pete Golding - 1 appearance (2 wins)
Elko - 1 appearance (0 wins)
Heupel - 1 appearance (0 wins)
Venables - 1 appearance (0 wins)
Sumrall - 1 appearance (0 wins)
If you look at SEC title game appearances and wins the ranking doesn’t change much. Why would he NOT be ranked 3rd?
It is a very reasonable list if you base it on accomplishments, not hopium.

Alabama's run game last year was historically bad, bad nationally in total rush yards and bad in ypc, outside of the top 100, ranked about the same as LSU
Granted, Texas' run game wasn't "good" or great by objective metrics but at least last year they ranked in the top 100 rush offenses and averaged over 4 ypc
I will grant 2024's rush offense was a wash but let's be honest: a lot of Alabama's rush numbers were attributed to what Milroe did with his legs and that kept defenses honest from stacking the box, wasn't really a traditional rushing offense

Win perc by coach
Fink- .618
Faurot- .533
Devine- .697
Drink- .613
Powers- .579
Henry- .578
Seem to be slightly above average at Mizzou..so yes..they accept it.
