I've been telling LSU fans that Kelly is the number one problem. He is your current HC who just fired the whole defensive coaches and loses OC to where he used to be the HC at Notre Dame. Kelly wanted to win a championship but couldn't do it at Notre Dame. That is why he is at LSU. More people are now seeing Kelly might be overrated as a HC that may never win a championship at the highest college level. Maybe there is a reason why Denbrock left LSU.

Yea

I know it’s confusing because so many of those wins were vacated.

don't see how you put Auburn and Ole Miss in tier 1 and LSU and maybe Texas in tier 2. Why is Oklahoma in tier 3? I like Josh Pate but this seems off.

Imagine how good the Ole Miss staff would be if they had anyone besides Pete Golding coaching defense

People that force talking points when they have run out of material embarrass themselves. Like his take on this.

LOL. A panic hire and several other coaches who also have no ties to and no experience with or knowledge of the SEC, because of Bama’s 5 championships this century. It’s similar to why teams will look at Bronny James because of who his dad is.

Going to be a long offseason.

No money left after making BB the highest paid asst. coach in the nation?

Real question. Is there a salary cap I’m not aware of?

You're an idiot.

Remember when LSU hired Nick Saban? A man with no SEC ties?

Or when they hired Les Miles, a Michigan man with no SEC ties who was only a HC at OKST for a few years working up an impressive .500 record in the Big12?

Or when LSU hired Brian Kelly, a man who's closest SEC tie was a fake southern accent?

You are the only one in a panic that I see. Alabama replaced the GOAT coach with a guy who took over a 4 win team and had them in the NC game within 2 years while having a huge lack of talent. And now that same guy has been handed the keys to a program that not only already has top talent, but is built to keep bringing in top talent year after year.

He has won everywhere hes been, he's obviously not the problem and the model puts him near the top among HCs.

The issue why we arent Tier 1 here simply has to do with us replacing Denbrock with some rookie OCs, the model isnt going t ogive much credit for guys without a history and Pate explained exactly that.

Its not like Denbrock was some elite cant miss OC, he's had bad, good and great offenses, I think we'll be just fine there. Denbrock simply wanted to go back up north, thats where he's from and coached the majority of his life. He was at ND under Kelly for years. If you're trying to insinuate he just didnt like Kelly, why did he spend 7 years with him at ND and then another 2 years down here with him later on? It's pretty obvious why he left, he's got a going back home feeling to it and that happens.
