The Aub/UVa rematch is a nice touch.

We have the pieces to be a legit 1 seed. It's just a question of putting them together.

I personally think Arkansas will likely be a 2 seed considering what they've got returning.

Hate to inject hyperbole this early on, but if this shakes out as generally predicted, next season may be the best in basketball, top-to-bottom, that the SEC has ever had.

I think 1 or 2 is where Arkansas ends up. Davis, Williams, Vanover, Notae, and Robinson return and now with the high caliber transfer additions...Should be challenging for the league crown and a top 2 NCAA seed.

Can we get some CBI bracketology for UGA?

I refuse to believe this.

WHY do you think this team will not do as well as last years? The pieces are there to have a really great year.
There was no true post presence last year, and this year there will be. You have experience returning in the backcourt and on the wings, and by midseason as the young players develop IMO and by basketball observers also this will be a team no one wants to play.

I think we'll be better than last year by tournament time. I also think the SEC will be really, really good and that we'll probably have a worse record overall and in conference.

This was clearly published before Sahvir Wheeler left UGA. Georgia will probably crack the bracket without him. I never liked that guy. Turns the ball over too much. Can’t shoot.

Kids haven't even signed yet, others are transferring left and right, and Lunardi is doing a Bracketology.
ETA ESPN is doing their very best to ruin sports.

The problem with last year's team was inconsistency. They'd be a world beater one night and be a decent team another. That could be a product of the offense they run but I like to think with better players and experience that can be overcome.
I believe there will be more players on this team that can score and be consistent. Herb God bless him was asked to do things offensively that he just wasn't quite capable of, Petty was about as streaky as someone can get and we had some other young players that were still developing.
This year you'll have two young 6'11 guys and you can't teach size. We know Tchikou can shoot the ball. Noah Gurley will probably assume Herb's role offensively and we know he can score.
Our guards have a year under their belt and should be outstanding. Our wings are the same.Mix in the newcomers and I don't care who we play Alabama will be a tougher out than last year.

SEC will own every sport eventually, because they are dedicated to winning at every level. Recruiting, coaching, discipline, academics, sexual harassment, etc.

I never really understood why people complain about this.
Is it way too early and pretty much pointless right now? For sure but still interesting to look at and discuss.
