I was going full hype Tua vs Burrow on Dec 6. Joe is outstanding young man and leader. He needs to force his way out of Cincinnati

I wish medical science can get to the point that ACL injuries are very speedy recoveries

I hope football gets to the point that people don't get hit in the side of their knees every other play. Accidents happen but all too often people are aiming low now because of the concussion bullshite.

The worst part of this is you kinda knew it was coming, but hoped it wouldn't.

I guess they learned from showing the Georgia receivers ankle going the wrong direction at least 5 times

The Bengals offensive line should be charged with conspiracy to commit murder... I feel awful for him... Overall he seems like a good dude.. Hope he makes a full recovery and that his offensive line eventually stands trial..

If we do anything other than get Joe a big ugly on the OL Mike Brown needs to be tarred and feathered and tossed into the Ohio River

Brown has no desire to field a winning team. He has Hamilton County bent over the barrel until 2026 when the lease is up. At that point I fully expect the Bengals to be on the market for the highest bidding city. Even if that is not the case, Katie Blackburn is waiting in the wings to take over for him. Her moves over the years have shown she knows as much about football as Mike Brown. Until the Brown family steps out of the way and hires a GM with full control, shite isnt going to change.

I'll say it one last time for you. Barring something crazy (like an infection) he'll be fine. He'll be ready for opening day next season.

What cities would be up for a franchise, I wonder?

San Antonio? Columbus? Portland?

Right now we appear to be the 3rd draft pick. If we do anything other than get Joe a big ugly on the OL Mike Brown needs to be tarred and feathered and tossed into the Ohio River
Hopefully Jacksonville wins a couple and Bengals end up with #2 then trade it for a bevy of picks and stock that Oline to protect Joe.

That or if your at 3 take the big tackle from Oregon

That is unfortunately not very surprising. It looked like Jaylon Smith 2.0, so he probably has a long road to recovery ahead of him, but I'm sure he will get there. Modern medicine + NFL money goes a long way.

Fox would've had it on rotation for the remainder of the game.

I just hope it doesn’t affect him the rest of his career. He has too much to accomplish

Wondered how long it would be before he went down for good. He should take the money, and force a trade.

frick the Bengals, they don’t even have an indoor practice facility.

Nick Chubb had the same injury. Terrible, but he can come back from it

He may not be ready game 1 next year, but he'll make it back.

People ripping the OL, but they didn't allow a single sack yesterday...unlike, say, the Dolphins OL. They also used the #11 overall pick on an OT in 2019...not like they've just ignored the OL. I know it takes more than 1, but Cincy is just a bad place to end up...jinxed or something. But if they have the #3 pick, the OT from Oregon that is sitting out will be a lock there in the next draft. That would give them two first rounders at the tackle positions. Below are the ratings for the Cincy offensive linemen. 1 good player in Williams...1 average player...and the rest subpar...but I doubt many teams have 4-5 elite offensive linemen all at once...but it only takes one really bad one to tank the unit.

Pass-blocking grades from the #Bengals loss to the WFT (60 being average):

Jonah Williams: 75.7
Hakeem Adeniji: 59.8
Trey Hopkins: 50.4
Quinton Spain: 40.0
Michael Jordan: 23.5

No doubt in my mind he will make a full recovery and be back for next year. Hope the Bengals takes this as a wake up call and gets the young man some protection.
