Jimbo Era off to a horrid start

AP Poll was just released and it could not have been a bigger slap to the Aggy face:
Texas A&M will start the season ranked 33rd, just ahead of Kansas St, who is coached by an actual dead person.
The now Jimbo-less FSU Seminoles are ranked higher at 19.
The media has more confidence in Sumlin’s new team at Arizona, who is ranked ahead of Aggy at 31.
Big bro Texas made the charts at 23. Their players and coach kiss on the mouth before each game, but they obviously have more grit than the Ags.
Bitter arch rival South Carolina is ahead at 26.
Even wannabe rival LSU made rank at 25.
No matter how you cut it, this is a complete embarrassment. The Aggy football program is in free fall. Why are we paying this guy so much again?

Pre season rankings for the most part are meaningless. Jumbo will use this for motivation.

It's even worse than you've said. Every expert in the nation predicts A&M to start 1-2. That's a losing record!!! $75 million for a losing record!!! And this is not a one time thing, either. Did you know that last year at FSU he also had a losing record?! What were we thinking?!

The money it would take to buy out fisher amounts to nothing more than a pile of snot rags to those uber wealthy a&m boosters.

Would rather start the year mid 30s than top 15.
You are looking at a tough year but if you can string together a good start and move up things will become a lot easier by bowl season.

Jimbo wouldn't even produce a winning record with a stocked cupboard and a soft as Charmin schedule last year. By the time he builds it back up, we'll be 3 losing seasons in.
