Pruitt will never win 11 games in his time at Tennessee. Smart has already done so 3 straight seasons. He has it up and running.

Tennessee has fallen in the same way A&M and Nebraska have fallen. Their fan bases want to believe, but in their heart of hearts they know they will blow it somehow.

Tennessee recruiting is picking up, still too many 3 stars. They used to recruit nationally under Fulmer. Florida is Tennessee’s kryptonite.

Smart inherited a far better circumstance than did Pruitt, was Richt 4-8 when Smart took over?

Tennessee is in a much better position than Nebraska, and how are you going to put A&M in the same sentence as those two?

Would you ban bet not having a top 3 class in the sec, and not top 5 nationally?

I don't know, I don't follow it that closely. I do think VOLS will finish 1-4 in the SEC and top 2-8 in the nation.

I do know that after tomorrow VOLS will have 9 4/5 stars which is second most in the nation. I also know that people talking about the amount of 3 stars are in denial considering 3-5 will be kicking rocks and at least three will finish as strong 4* players.

UGA had 1 player drafter- in the 5th round - after Smart's first year. Smart did not inherit a much better situation than Pruitt.

Well sure but, proportionately speaking, Smart has also advanced his program well beyond where it was when he inherited it 5 years ago. Last year, Tennessee lost to Georgia State.

You got me there. At least Sunbelt member Georgia State was 7-5 heading into it’s 3rd ever bowl game.

Ok. UGA went 23-5 after those guys all left and recruiting has only improved. Are you sure Pruitt is a better coach?

When he goes 7-5 this year and UGA goes 11-1 we still have to have the “future potential” discussion next offseason? At a certain point he’ll need to win some games, not just against trash like Indiana and Auburn.

They had zero reason to leave early. None would have been picked above 5th round like Fromm. They greatly improved their nfl situations after letting Kirby develop them a second season.

Georgia sure can beat UTs arse. Didn’t see any choking on the Ga sideline. Not for years and years. The fellows in puke orange are doing all the choking. For years and years.

I don’t know UGAs schedules in the next 5 years aren’t very favorable. Tough games each season, SEC championship game won’t be easy to win and Ohio state and Clemson with Trevor Lawrence and Justin fields will be hard outs the next 2 years.
