End of year rankings
2017 - 2nd
2018 - 7th
2029 - 4th
We’re honestly pretty terrible. I’m embarrassed we are even deciding to field a team for 2020.

Boy the Kirby stuff is getting laughable.
Dude finishes in the Top 7 every year and people act like he's Will Muschamp

In terms of best teams UGA has had recently. Not saying any of the teams are bad, in fact they were all good, just that it is moving in the wrong direction.

Concussions are bad. Seek help JPW.

Improving from #7 to #4 is certainly the wrong direction. Great point.

2018 and 2019 UGA teams play one another. Who wins?
I've got 2018 at -2.5

Obviously the South Carolina loss was bad, but we beat 4 of the top 15 teams in the Final AP Poll and lost to one of the best teams of all time in the SEC Championship that blew everyone out at the end of the year.
I was disappointed with the season, but I don’t think it was worse than the year before.

I think all 3 are pretty comparable.
They all had weaknesses.
2017, the DBs were a weak link all season. The offense was young (freshmen all over the place in key spots).
2018, no roquan. The linebacker Corp was in transition. The offense was better than 2018, but still struggled with playcalling (too much run on 1st down).
2019, the defense was filling out most of the weak spots. DB depth showed up a bit with injuries. The offense struggled with WR production and playcalling (admittedly, it is tough on playcalling with little to no vertical threat).
2020 will be the best accumulation of talent for kirby and uga. Maybe ever. It will be seen what the team can do. My early question marks are DL depth (strong 1st line, but lots of question marks behind it), WR production, QB/playcalling, and how the OL gels (I expect better run blocking and worse pass blocking. Can a mobile QB negate the pass pro stepback?)

Pruitt does scare me more. Because he can recruit just as good as Kirby and can actually coach unlike Kirby

Not much difference between the 2017-2019 teams overall. Each had an average point differential within 0.8 ppg of each other. 2019 had the best D, 2018 the best O, and 2017 accomplished the most.

Jeremy Pruitt is easily the best SEC coach in history*

That still applies to Nick Saban

I was particularly impressed with his in game coaching against GA ST and BYU.

UGA with Smart has already reached its ceiling: not winning a national championship. The coaching has actually regressed imo
This is a dumb statement... I love to give UGA shite but they are DANGEROUS... LSU seems to be their kryptonite but IMO it's only a matter of time before they win it all...

John Parker is alive and well on the Alabama radio network. After holding a clipboard in the NFL for a few years.

Sure is, even came back down to Red Stick 2 years later and scored the game winning TD in overtime

class with 2/3rds 3 stars. That’s the ticket to success for sure. Before you know it, Tennessee will be beating teams like Georgia State easily.
