More about UF and UGA being down than anything Mizzou did

This is the first time I've heard this argument. I probably should edit my OP to acknowledge this theory....oh wait.

Sincerely wasn't intended as a bash. Was just pointing out the facts. It won't matter now because there won't be divisions. But I think we can both agree that Mizzou would not have been in the same position had they ended up in the West.

I'll also concede that Arkansas wouldn't have won the division in our 4th year if we'd ended up in the East.

Texas better get that stupid cow under control. It’s bad enough he almost killed UGA. An animal this big and strong and not properly controlled is dangerous to people as well as animals. He belongs in a pasture not on a football field

You’d be angry too if you’d had gender reassignment surgery.

I'm sure he'll go back and take the hours needed to get his degree. Just think how much more $$$ he'll make with it.

That was kinda badass though. That cow deserves way better than being the Texas mascot

Lots of teams could have said this if they joined the East at that time.

Well, you are flat out wrong. in 2013 the East placed 2 teams in the top 5 in the country according to the final AP poll (SCAR at #4 and Mizzou at #5).

It took the West 10 YEARS after that to accomplish the same thing.!

Learn a little bit about college football and the SEC in particular before you post such nonsense.

The bottom line is that it is not comparable. The structure of the SEC will be different, and WHOEVER gets there won't get there through an extremely weak division like Mizzou did. Mizzou never actually won the championship. Now the real question is, will one of them WIN the league before Mizzou does, the answer to that is most likely yes.

In fact, the East was quite strong in 2013 placing 2 teams in the top 5 final AP poll. The East has not been able to accomplish that since. The Big XII has not done that either in that span.

The most I can give you is Georgia and Florida sucked that year. Big deal. We didn't and neither did the East.

Yet no championship. You guys made the B12 championship twice before you left, and couldn't win that either. The bottom line is the analogy is not valid, as the structure of the league will be different.
