That is actually a good idea, thank you.

I still need to get around to framing the newspapers too.

Lol. Look, great year for you guys. Enjoy it.

But Bama lost its top 2 wr’s in the post season play. That was the difference between game one and game 2.

Let’s not act like you guys went out and dominated everyone on both sides of the ball with a hard schedule.

Maybe Bama’s new model for building teams - QB/WR-centric - perhaps that has downside/injury risk?

Hmmmmmm….UGA didn’t have all their WRs healthy all year - lost their best passrusher to legal issues.

Attrition is part of the equation.

Our strength of schedule was higher than Ole Miss'.

Georgia had SOS #10
Ole Miss SOS #25

Sagarin-SOS

You would have thought with such an easier SOS Ole Miss would have won the National Championship.

ETA
I would add that Michigan and Cincinnati had easier schedules than ours.

Cincinnati #71
Michigan #15

#10 SOS in the country is supposed to be easy? LMAO

That means what 240+ other programs had easier schedules and 9 didn’t?

Missing:
Tykee Smith All American DB
Dominick Blaylock 5* WR
Adam Anderson 5* Edge Rusher
JT Daniels 5* QB
Arian Smith Fastest WR
Tate Ratledge starting OG
Kendall Milton 4* RB

Players that played but nowhere near 100%
George Pickens 5* WR
Kearis Jackson 4* WR (He may have been closer than I am thinking, but still not 100%)

There were more, but for some reason (old age) I can't remember who all. We were decimated by injuries at WR in a year we wanted to finally rely on the passing game more.

No. My point was that we had a very hard SOS.

Am I misunderstanding you...or are you misunderstanding me?

Yes, sir. Programs and newspapers are great to have. Newspapers can yellow and get brittle, but if you get them framed up and keep them from direct sunlight they will last a long time.

Get it done and put them on your wall. Guests at your house will stop to read the papers, and they will want to thumb through the programs....so get a couple of extra programs.

I think that might be just in time for Texas A&M's next natty.

Not surprised. At the game UGA fans outnumbered Bama fans and were way more energetic throughout it.

In another 2021 season, elsewhere in the multiverse, Georgia fans don't hear Brock Bowers' & AD Mitchell's names other than scout team reports or follow-up on recruiting classes, as the entrenched starters stay off the injury list & never let go of their positions.

a 41-24 fluke. Got it.

Yes, 41 pts being scored on the best defense in college football is a fluke when it only happens one time.

or, OR, that defense finally played an elite offense and couldn't keep up. They lucked out when two of the best WRs in the nation went down with injury. But that's apart of it, injuries happen. UGA won fair and square, and no excuses. Congratulations.

But lets not act like 41-24 was some kind of fluke, because that's pretty dumb.

Just a thought, the 2020 gear might have sold at a higher clip because of the relative disconnect with fans due to Covid. Smaller capacity at stadiums... also fewer people spending money on tickets but still want their FB fix... buy gear after the ship? Didn't read the article, but just positing a thought.

Any chance you know where to find this polo?

Not natty gear, just the one that most of the coaches were wearing it seemed like this year. It's been out of stock everywhere I've looked for months.

Maybe.

If there was ever going to be an asterisk after a season, a 10-game one (5 if you're the B1G) might be it, though.

Maybe there's a flaw in my logic for equating enthusiasm for winning the NCG with directly correlating to merch buying.

I love that polo, but it bugged me all year how high the swoosh and Power G are up from where it would normally be located on the chest. It feels like it's halfway to your collarbone.

ETA - That Anthracite gray that Nike's installed as an unofficial alternate color is money, IMO. Love the way it looks with the red, black & silver.
