… Georgia’s fanbase is making history. According to Sportico.com, the sales of Georgia’s championship gear on Fanatics currently sits as the all-time highest clip in the company’s history.

“In less than 24 hours, Fanatics sold more Georgia title merchandise than it did in the 30 days after Alabama won last year. That Alabama team was the company’s previous top-selling college football champion.”

Now, let's not pretend that there isn't pent-up demand for UGA gear in the wake of our first NC since 1980. That's one of the biggest no-brainers in college football.

What's interesting is that 2020 CFP championship stuff from the Tide's 6th NC in 13 seasons was the previous high water mark. While I firmly believe Georgia will win 2-3 more CFP trophies before we see 2030, none will ever feel like this one, so you’ve gotta enjoy it for what it is.

Lol. Look, great year for you guys. Enjoy it.

But Bama lost its top 2 wr’s in the post season play. That was the difference between game one and game 2.

Let’s not act like you guys went out and dominated everyone on both sides of the ball with a hard schedule.

I’ve ordered so much stuff.

And because all of you did too, I probably won’t get any of it until mid-February.

Sounds like Bama should’ve prepped their backups better. Shame.

It's my understanding that Fanatics handles NC stuff like they do specific game score shirts - you order after the game is over and 3 weeks later they commit to the actual printing of the item and then it ships immediately afterwards.

We're probably still a week out from some of the stuff we've bought even existing.

My God. A fan of a team with a clearly upward trajectory believes that they will continue to achieve at a higher level.

The horror.

Or did you predict a 6-7 season for your team and were happy to be right about it?

It’s like people still don’t realize our average Margin of Victory across 14 wins this season was by 24 points

You’ve won 1 title in 40 years. Now you’re projecting 3 in 9? I’m not saying y’all won’t win another, I’m saying he should enjoy the frick out of this one and slow his roll predicting that they will win 33% of the NC’a going forward.

Excuses can go both ways. Apparently UGA was recovering from the flu for game 1.

I say it’s a wash.

I know.
Ringo wasnt even a starter to begin the season.
Neither was Ladd.
Mitchell was a starter because Pickens ACL, Gilbert was a no-sho, and the other guys looking at reps at X (Burton/Rosemy-JackSaint) were dinged up all spring and fall. Mitchell was the only one good enough to start against Clemson because the 4 other guys with experience at the position werent ready.

Again, I'm a fan of my team. I'd love to see us win ALL the games, but that's not a realistic expectation. Since Kirby's arrival in Athens, we've reached the CFP championship twice in 5 years. That's twice in 6 years as a first-time HC. Yes, we absolutely need more data, but that's why we play the games.

It's absolutely not impossible to believe that in the rest of this decade that UGA could make the CFP another 4+ times. I get it that you probably don't follow Georgia football as much as one of us does. Even an objective observer would understand that if Nick Saban's Alabama dynasty is on one side of the NC-winning program continuum, and Ed O is on the other, Kirby is MUCH closer to the Saban end. Those are facts, and I'm more than happy to wait for the results to prove the position.

I might be in the minority here, but I've never bought championship gear. I've never liked the look of any of it. Would rather just buy regular team logo apparel

They're just riding that high. It's been a very long time for them so I hope they enjoy it.

A bunch of sidewalkers ordered a bunch of shitty tacky t shirts? Shocker

You know what the difference for Georgia was? We played without 4 of our top WRs all/most of the year. Our All-American DB all year and a first round edge rusher, and our first string G.

I get it. But people act like we went through the year injury free. We had a ton of injuries.

Amazing how other teams get to blame injuries but ours are inconsequential.

We also beat the #1 and #2 teams in the country and ended with the #10 toughest schedule in the country.

Sagarin SOS

We finished 3-1 against top 10 teams while Alabama finished 2-1.

I'm not sure what your point is?
