Does Alabama jump to #1 after beating Michigan like LSU did after beating Oregon last year?

I would imagine.....but it really doesn't matter. One other thing, Michigan is tremendously overrated....they are nowhere close to the team oregon had....but since the media has overrated them as a top 8 team, despite beating only two marginal top 25 teams last year.....alabama will get a huge spike off of it when they beat them by 30. Michigan is about as overrated as Notre Dame was a few years back in the Sugar Bowl.

Really?
There is no way Bama loses to ULM.
There is no way Bama loses to Utah.
There is now way Miami loses to Bama.
They play the game for a reason. Far bigger upsets than #8 over # 2 will happen THIS YEAR and you don't see how you can lose.
Bama lost its best offensive player, their top 2 wr, their best pass catching te, their top two lb, both starting cb , and your best safety. Yes no way on earth Bama can lose.

Of course they can lose because anything can happen. A fumble here or a missed defensive assignment there.

I think if most had to make a perdiction they are going to pick Alabama and it's not even close.

Michigan lost their leader on their offensive line in Molk. They lost three of their best defensive linemen especially the kid Martin.

There is nothing I can compare with the two teams in which I feel Michigan has an advantage in. Not even special teams because they are horrible punting the ball and they are not very good returning, and coverage.

Yes it's possible they could win, but I just can't see it when I compare the two teams.

Definitely possible. But being the first game of the year, who knows what will happen. Maybe Michigan wont turn it over 4 times to you

Oregon didn't just hand us the ball four times, LSU caused those fumbles and interceptions....

Bama will jump LSU after beating Michigan. But LSU will jump Bama after beating Bama.

I think the game will be very close until the end and will be decided within 7 points. BAMA squeaks one out 27-21.

michigan is higly overrated......look at who they beat last year......two teams that ended ranked in the bottom of the top 25.....nebraska, which lost to south carolina by 17.....and VT, in OT, which everyone knows what the SEC does to VT.

As long as LSU wins the BCS Champ game 21-0, I am OK with it.

my bad man....michigan is a really good team, with a great defense and a solid passing game. I know they lost 3 DL from that vaunted defense from last year...and their top OL...but they got em' waiting in line there. They are actually underrated. It will be a huge win for bama if they can pull it off.

LSU didn't jump to #1 after beating Oregon last year. LSU didn't move up to #1 until after the 4th game of the season and our third convincing win away from home against a nationally ranked opponent.

Says the LSU fan. This is the attitude many LSU fans had about New Orleans and it's one shared again by many for November.

I knew we would lose last year in the NC, the same way I know LSU is going to beat Alabama at home this year
