Another great family in football all attended Ole Miss were: Paige Cothren . His uncles, Buster, Ray and Barney Poole, were All-Americans at Ole Miss and would eventually star for various teams in the NFL. One of the Pooles played at 3 different colleges and was All American at each 3.
Paige was the first player to sign a contract with the NO Saints.

State hired Merlins when no one was looking at Merlins. He has built his program from the ground up with red shirts and dept.
State is one year away from breaking through....His wife loves Starkville and is not leaving. He will be at state for a long time. Money is of no issue. The cost of living in Starkville is the lowest of the SEC schools. His $2 Mill salary is like $4 Mill anywhere else.

I for one have been critical of Fla all summer, but they are to be reckoned with.
If LSU continues to play like they have for the past several games, Fla 30-LSU 17.
So until LSU shows me something different, it will be a Fla win.

This ref didn't spot the forward progress. He was lining up with another ref that was letting him know where to forward progress stopped and the other ref was telling him to move the ball forward where the real spot was........

Until Fla has started winning and LSU started winning ugly, it was a gimmie, but now Fla could be a loss.........team has better get it together, which is doubtful.....from the showing of the past rent-a-win-teams play.

Does it seem the 4 & 5 * players don't get any better and some of the 2 & 3 * develop better?

When Miles was hired, Saban had left hardly any OL nor recruited any.
