Well, looking at the numbers from last year :

You gave up 171.4 Passing YPG. I think that number could stay in that area. You don't play WVU, but Washington has a nice passing attack, and AJ should have 250 on 11/3.

You gave up 90.07 Rushing YPG. As crazy as it sounds, I think that number goes up. You have to play Marcus Lattimore, Knile Davis, an improved Aubie running attack, and Eddie Lacy and Friends this season. I don't think it skyrockets or anything, probably just something more like 99.4 YPG or something.

Simon gave up 3 (may have been 4, IDR) completions in the BCSCG...Mo didn't give up one. Though Simon is a better player than he was in January.

Look at Mo's stats the year before Peterson went out. They were worse than Simon was last year. That had a lot to do with whose playing. Of course they pick on the other guy

True. Simon is going to really lock guys down, but people are still going to put tall WRs on the field for HB7. In man, and I've said it before, he's good, but he has trouble turning around and locating the ball in the air, and against WRs that are 6'2"+ that can be a problem. Do I think Mathieu gets abused? No, but people know that if they have him on a taller WR they just have to put it high enough where Mathieu won't be able to find it immediately. It isn't really his size that is the problem, if he could locate the ball sooner he would knock it down or pick it off 95% of the time against taller WRs.

True HB7 gives up a little, but with the addition of mills, and he depth we have at safety I think that makes up for his height. I know people don't want to hear that this years tiger defense is going to be better, but I am oing on record stating that it will be, if it turns out I am wrong, I will eat crow, but if I am right it's going to be scary

So wait, who do you expect to be your 5th and 6th DBs? Jalen and Eugene, right? Both RS Freshman, iirc.

Jalen Collins is a redshirt freshman Jalen Mills is not. I I made a mistake the other night, Collins will be redshirted. Dwayne Thomas will play. Eugene is going to be redshirted. Thomas is better than Eugene. I rewarded the spring game over the weekend and realized that Thomas was on the starting defense. He is going to be better than Taylor, 6-2 height and Not to mention he is faster than Taylor was

You don't mean starting over Loston, right?

In certain scernario's they might. Loston is our starting strong safety. Reid is our free safety. These guys will play similar roles that brooks and Taylor.

Should be interesting. Pencil 8/11. Bama will be scrimmaging that day, and I wanna know exactly what is up with our lineups. Some figure we have A-Hubb at Jack and Dickson at Sam, some think we have Dickson at Sam and Hubbard at Jack in certain packages.

Also, Deion Belue got the start over Fulton today in 11 on 11, and HaHa was the fifth DB on the field in 11 on 11, meaning Fulton may only come out in Dime.

Apparently Vogler is working as our starting H-Back, but he needs to work on his blocking.

Also we used a 2 RB set today, apparently it was a split of some sort. Fowler operated as the FB out of said set. I hope we use it a lot because getting two of our RBs on the field at a time would be awesome. I heard LSU was also using a two RB formation.
