Why did he start last year? Who was going to start over him next year? Did saban just have the wrong guys in there or what? Is he not a good talent evaluator?

Just glad he's going to a good program.

I think the new offense in Tuscaloosa was going to be better for Bond but Sark+Ewers is a sure thing for him in his NFL declaration year.
It is what it is. The WR depth chart is pretty deep and I think they were undercoached by Wiggins. Texas got a good one, Alabama will likely get better production from Hale, Prentice, and Law next year.

That's why Deboer told him to look around.

Oh well, best of luck to him. Appreciate everything he did at Alabama. Wish him well.

More likely that he saw what AD did to his stock after 1 year at UT. Wanted something for sure instead of gambling on a new coach.

This is it. Texas came with the Lambo and cash. I'm taking the Huracan, Ewers throwing to me, and Sark calling the plays. I believe Alabama will be a reformed offensive unit in 2024 compared to last year but Isiah is in his money-making 3rd year and wanted the sure thing. The comp'd Huracan lease (I'm guessing) doesn't hurt.

Sucks, but he gave us Gravedigger, so will always be remembered fondly at Bama.

this sounds fancy and all, but my guess is it’s only about $30-40k a year as a cost to Lamborghini.. which is nothing compared to some of these deals kids are getting.. but it’s a nice perk no doubt, especially for a kid that age..

Saban underutilized Bond. Bond is doing the right thing for him. Putting Kool-aid back there to return kicks was the dumbest shite! And, Bond said in a press conference he had been practicing to return kicks and he would start doing so. But, some genius thought better.

May he catch a 4th and 31 to beat Bama

I figured the Lambo was just a part of the NIL collective’s package but if you are making 1m a year and most of your essentials are already provided by campus, Aventadors and Huracans or Urases are nothing to lease or own.

This was about one thing and only one thing.
NIL MONEY.

Bama's new offense has to get the QB position right. Milroe isn't the answer.

Saban talked him out of it once already. The guy did not have faith in Milroe at QB with Rees as OC. He’s a better WR than most around the nation realize because his offense was shite and the QB limited.
I think he could’ve been great in DeBoer’s offense but we all know he will be great with Ewers throwing to him in Sark’s offense.
Hate that he’s gone but he’s got intergenerational wealth to build.

Does a coach REALLY need to be a great recruiter these days? The boosters buy him all his talent. The coach just has to coach them up to their ability. I think being a "great recruiter" is just a cliche at this point. Even Saban couldn't talk someone into coming if they had millions staring them in the face somewhere else.
