Disagree. Texas pays.. we do, but we do not go after the guys that are just about NIL. Culture is priority number 1 for Sark.

See Evan Stewart as a reference.

All else equal, including NIL.

Who would you rather your QB be next year? Ewers or Milroe?

He saw what AD Mitchell did and Sark told him he would be the guy for us..

D. Smith
Waddle
Ruggs
Jeudy
Worthy
AD Mitchell

All since 2020 will go 1st or 2nd round..

Easy decision.

Saban talked him out of it once already. The guy did not have faith in Milroe at QB with Rees as OC. He’s a better WR than most around the nation realize because his offense was shite and the QB limited.

The guy that made 4th and 31 famous. A living BAMA legend thinks that offense was crap. And he knows he now has the head coach and OC of the number 1 offense in America in the locker room. Baloney.

It was ONLY about money. Which is fine. It's a priority to him and he isn't the only player to step into the magic portal to get the bidding started. Nor the last from Tuscaloosa.

There isn't a recruit, transfer, or assistant coach with a fraction of the value of getting the head coaching right. And we nailed it.

I thought Bond was smarter than this. He would have been the #1 target next season. Grubb would have got him the ball like he did those guys at Washington. He could have put up some nice numbers and zoomed up a lot of NFL teams draft boards and instead of doing things the good old fashioned way he decided to sell out for a little NIL money. This coming season would be his last anyway because he would have got the chance to leave early. Makes no sense.

NIL MONEY.

It has ALWAYS been about money.

However, because of the rule changes regarding NIL, Alabama and UGA (and a small subset of additional teams) are no longer the only teams paying players.

Now, you have to go against people with MUCH more money.

Did you really think that all of these kids from all over the country have been choosing Alabama because it was their lifelong dream to attend a joke academic institution in the middle of nowhere?

Speed kills. Now have three receivers with 10.4 speed on the field at the same time?

You’re in fantasy land if you think no other schools were in the compensatory black market than Alabama and Georgia. The SWC died because all the schools were cheating under the old rules and turning each other in all the time.

And Austin has been shelling it out like any other team hypocrite. The difference is you still were wandering in the wilderness for over a decade until we sent you a head coach built by BAMA. You're welcome.

I'm glad Bond chose the Shorthorns.

Hopefully Ryan Wingo rots on the bench.

Why? You might simply sound this one truth down about the rant. You sling it, I'll bring it.

This Lebron James, team up, be buddy buddy and take my talents to ___ generation of athletes are so weak.

Its bad enough all of the 5 stars want to team up and play together, now a guy like Bond who would be Bama football royalty forever leaves for team that kicked his arse.

WTF

You are dead right. He would have never had to buy a meal in the State of Alabama. Bond would have been a made man the rest of his life here. It make’s absolutely no sense.

"Oh no, Texas is going to lose their top three receivers next year! It's going to be a huge step back on the offensive side of the ball!"

So Bond chose Ewers over Milroe for one year to showcase himself for the NFL?

In the grand scheme of things, that is what is happening here and as much faith as everyone has with CKD getting the Bama O to be like UW, for an athlete on a one year showcase clock there is a lot of short term risk.

The Lamborghini thing is just window dressing as it looks like most of the big name skill position players at Texas have a NIL deal there with the local dealership for a one year lease.
