They seem to be in that perfect state of having everything line up perfectly. Offense and defense solid, with a phenomenal QB that is unstoppable

Last year was their best opportunity imo.
They still have a good team but lost a few key pieces imo.
The lane hate helped their defense against lsu.

They have a real shot.
However other defensive coordinators will see what LSU fans saw this weekend and will pressure Chambliss the whole game instead of just a quarter, so their road will be tough but if there's ever a year they will win it all, it's this year.

I don't know about an NC...but they look as good as anyone right now. Don't see any front runners just yet. Chambliss is the real deal.

November 7th will tell the tale. We'll certainly put their run defense to the test. If they take us down, then they can start talking title.

Have to admit, it would be funny, but I don't see it happening.
Watching clips of Leavitt missing wide-open receivers for TDs is frustrating for LSU fans, but it also makes me think that Ole Miss defense is really not that good. Chambliss is great, but the rest of the team is fairly middle of the road.

We have the hardest schedule we’ve had in years, so I’m not sure just from quality of opponents

And there lies the truth.
LSU should have won that game by 2 TDs or better. Leavitt needs some coaching. I think his game will pick up as the season progresses.

True, but as the returning back to back SEC champs with a team loaded with returning starters, UGA is still the team to beat.

They’ll say we’re just “coping” but the blueprint is out there now. I also feel like the Jaxxon Dart injury is a bad omen too. We’ll see.

Maybe. Definitely top 8 for sure. If defense can just tighten up some then everything should be smooth sailing.
