If it is indeed their year, I'm going to bet my assets that Hail State wins it next year. They couldn't let us even have our baseball title celebration for a year and then went and won one. Mixed emotions.

This is my favorite one.
Kiffin just got stuffed in the locker by Golding 3 days ago. You don’t need to wait for shite lol.
Kiffin took 4 players with him while the rest decided they’d rather play for Golding including the best player in college football. The QB guru couldn’t bring his QB with him?
Anyways Ole Miss has 50 new players who just punked Kiffin’s 60 new players.
All of the players on the defense are Pete’s guys.
Ole Miss success is because Golding is a good coach and he has put together a solid staff. JDB just stuffed Blake Baker in the locker. Lucky Ole Miss mercy kneeld or they would have put up nearly 40 points on lsu.
Only difference between Ole Miss and lsu right now is an upper deck of 30,000 coonasses. And that’s being generous to lsu to be honest.

I laughed and agree to an extent, but real talk, the past 2 Bama games have been an example of that phenomenon. We blatantly sucked and were losing the entire first half of the UK game and FSU games until coaching adjustments were made in the second half.

I'd say Ole Miss was the next factor. They have a top15 NIL budget, so a decent coach should be able to finish in the top15, especially with an easy schedule(relative to the SEC).
Kiffin managed to lose to 3 UR teams in 2024 which was probably his best actual team. They beat Georgia(his only top10 win at Ole Miss I think), but then screwed up multiple games because of his game management. LSU fans should remember the game he blew to you in OT.
Only played 2 ranked teams last year, went .500 against them. If he hadn't left it might be easier to judge him better since he would have no doubt beat Tulane, but he lost to Georgia earlier in the year and Golding won with better game management.
People act like it's Ole Miss, so it's Kiffin, but Ole Miss is putting in the resources. Hell they were putting in the resources when Freeze was there, it was just against the rules.
And I doubt LSU fans want to hear the rest of my opinion on him. Good play caller, good at setting up plays and such. I can't believe LSU hired him, but then I found out your governor hired him and that makes sense since all political people want is PR/hype.

Same here. He mostly lost to Georgia because the defense gave up 43 points on the road. Golding didn't in New Orleans.

He seemed like the best option available, not really sure who would've definitely been better, but I'm obviously biased.

1st quarter he refused to kick a FG and had a turn over on downs instead in the redzone. You always take 3 in that situation, and it was needed at the end.
He did that kind of stuff often. Leaves a lot of points on the field. Analytics are usually dumb.

Only if you look at the possible upside and ignore everything else that comes with him. People learn over time, he shouldn't be worse anyway.
