If not the biggest, it has to be top 5.

Lane Kiffin had to leave to coach at LSU to get a night game in Oxford.

Easily yes. You’d think ole Miss would be happy we snatched their coach away. Th is might be the most lucrative weekend in the state of Mississippi’s history.

Be just behind the playoff game last year.

#2 Auburn vs #3 Mississippi St winner would be number 1.

Your current head coach felt mighty confident on the road against a team he was desperate to beat.

Brennon was pretty confident when he insisted LSU was on probation. Turns out, it ended 3 years ago.

His entire identity is hating Lane Kiffin.

Bama vs. #1 MSU with Dak in Starkville was a pretty big deal.

The game this weekend is huge, especially with the Lane angle.

That was great but 1977 Ole Miss and Notre Dame with ND going on to win national championship even after the OM loss. Was at that game. September heat wiped those ND boys out.

Didn't Auburn and Miss State play as 2 and 3 in 2014?

Ole Miss wasn’t even ranked for that game. He’s asking about most buzz around the game not biggest upset.

1) Auburn vs State 2014
2) LSU vs Ole Miss 2003
3) Ole Miss vs Bama 2014
4) Egg Bowl 2014 (denying MSU a playoff spot)

I’m sure there was something back in the 60s on par.

This is too early in the season to be top 5 ever. Last week of the season with conference/playoffs on the line? Sure. But we could be watching two 8-4 teams for all we know.
