Kind of a rout for Grant and one of LSU's most important early figures, once they figured out how to not get lost in the Delta and get past the guns of course.
But, it still wasn't the game of the week.
ETA: probably a Johnston and Sankey analogy in there as well, but Johnston didn't bother to help the MS boys out.

Probably the Sept 27 homecoming game at Ole Miss against Vanderbilt. Tuberville spoke publicly about how the confederate flag was hurting recruiting because other schools were using it against them. He asked the fans to stop bringing them and it backfired as more fans showed up with confederate flags and 10,000 flags were handed out before the game. After seeing ten thousand students showing up with confederate flags on national tv the student body banned sticks and poles inside the stadium making it harder for fans to wave the flag. The next game against Arkansas, they handed out red pom poms in lieu of the confederate flag.

The Hunter Heave has to be top 5 due to the implications. Poor Ole Miss has still never made it to Atlanta...
