The SEC should just admit that they screwed up and make a blanket waver for all players eligible under the 5 for 5 like the NCAA should have done in June. Maybe LSU won't counter sue if they apologize for singling them out.

LSU should walk away now that SEC has filed in federal court.
Just like Texas Tech did once the Big 12 filed in federal court.
We shall see if LSU is as smart as TT.
Tech walked away from their starting QB.

LSU is being sued for 1st amendment violations by their own conference and LSU fans still think this is about people being eligible.
You want to be independent - then go be independent. You do not have the right to use the courts to change conference rules against the other 15 members.
If you want to be a member of the SEC, you follow SEC rules.
LSU is on the way out of this conference and LSU fans still think it's about eligiblity.

Nope. Not until tx and sc and every other school drops theirs who went through the draft and mini camps training camps any of it

I think that's what LSU's main beef is at this point.
You can't be that blatant about unequal treatment, LSU can't expect to function in a conference if they get punished for what other teams are doing.
Alabama wouldnt put up with that either.

Why just LSU? The 5 other schools get to keep their former “pros”?
That’s the definition of competitive imbalance and uneven application of rules.

No one talked about Bama going independent or Ole Miss either when they got injunctions. Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi State all have football players with NFL experience. Ole Miss just got a commitment from a basketball player that played at Florida who played in the G-League. But, its just LSU.

In recruiting, now, there's one school and one coach that can look recruits in the eye and say, truthfully, "There's only one school and one head coach in the SEC that has your back. We've proven it. The 15 other schools voted against player's interests. Not LSU. Not Lane Kiffin."
It's street cred with the players. Lane and LSU are locking up future talent over this.
