yep

SEC wins in federal court but is ordered to clear up all language and says that no TRO can allow eligibility.....so Trinidad is done, all others playing because of TRO....done. Alabama is retroactively punished in Basketball for playing a player form the G-league.

and the Rant gets to go back to watching Ole miss fans cry like a baby back bitch. Alabama fans go back to not giving a frick about basketball

and all is right on the SEC Rant

In some cases, it's worse.

The contract Harris signed was voided. He was only paid $190 for gas.

The guy at Texas made 5 figures on his contract. No problem.

Bediako played pro for 3 years and came back and played 5 games before Sankey did anything. No lawsuit, no threats.

Not the same? frick you.

The SEC’s definition of a pro is in the rule prohibiting former pro players. It has been posted ad nauseam on this board.

My definition is anyone that goes through the draft process. Think about it strictly from a logistics standpoint. You idiots down in Louisiana want a player to have the right to come back after months trying to obtain an NFL job. Meanwhile, the coach has a spot to fill and cannot wait on said player to make up their mind.

But in the event you cannot fill a spot like a normal coach would, you have the right to pull from some NFL rejects to do so. In what world does that make sense?

I think the SEC is going to see that lsu didn’t swerve and maybe doesn’t want to open up discovery in their lawsuit given what some of the players may say about other schools also “recruiting” them. They let it go status quo like the other injunctions.

They’ve made a big enough stink this time for congress to step in or they hope so.

Let’s keep this simple.

Federal case supersedes the state case.

LSU will lose in the federal court case just like Tech would have lost.

Don’t do a tap dance, don’t overthink it.

If LSU does not follow the SEC rules, they will be sanctioned.

LSU fans on this thread are showing they are dumber than TT fans. TBD if LSU athletic department is as well.

This is not about eligibility. You are being sued for 1st amendment violations in federal court.

You will not be a member of the SEC within a few years. Either because you are kicked out, or because conferences will have lost all rights at all.

If you want to be independent, that is fine. But if you want to be a member of the SEC, you follow SEC rules.

Is Landry the ringleader of this circus? He is the ringleader isn’t he?

Kiffin was his choice. Ausberry was his choice. Rousse was his choice (despite having the least college admin experience of any final candidate, just two years at McNeese). This is beginning to feel like a political gamble on his part.

If LSU wins he is a hero. If LSU loses he is still the hero for standing up to the SEC. This feels like politics more than sports at this point.

All pros should be dropped from all SEC member rosters. LSU is the largest offender but not the only one.

i agree but so should all players playing under TRO... and bama and other teams who have played G-leauge players should receive sanctions.

clear up any and all language in the rules

and everyone wants to talk about class of 2022....shite the best returning QB in the league is class of 2021.

frick OM....either Trinidad is gone or we keep this shite up

and Im the one that thinks this is a terrible look for LSU. damages the Brand but at this point, the SEC has to stop being selective when the rules apply and when they dont. Either a TRO matters or none do

and LSU didnt try to change the rules, they didnt sue, players sued in Colorado first. what ever florida fan said that...stfu and stop being a dumbass

LSU didn’t launch anything.

You're being sued in federal court for 1st amendment violations that specifically acuse LSU of launching a deliberate and coordinated campaign against the conference.

Well it wouldn't be clean, that's for sure.

First off, Mickey Mouse is gonna bend you over and frick your a-hole, and while you might like that, the other 14 programs might not.

LSU is going to take a piece out of the SEC too, then there probably well be some kind of antitrust or collusion federally.

The SEC won't exist by the end of it, and LSU will be the 1st out, and might be the only one to get out clean.

Again, I can sue you for being a needle dicked chucklehead. Doesn’t mean anything.

The case the SEC filed will be tossed out, or laughed out of the building in a trial.

This is going to be very hard for the SEC to prove especially after yesterday when they couldn’t define their own rules in testimony. The SEC bylaws do not supersede court orders.

The burden of proof is on the SEC and they must prove that no other school engaged in the same behavior.
