Go to stepupforstudents.org they have all the info on it. If you have questions let me know. There is also one if your kid goes to a public school out of your assigned district you can get 400 a semester for transportation costs paid directly to you

In fl I get the money directed to me, then I transfer it to the catholic school my son goes to. No state direct payments, no state control over the school.
